You Got Shrëdded

I was on my new Druid when I got a Real ID message from Geo on his Druid, telling me that he had just killed a Level 30 Draenei Shaman in the Gurubashi Arena.

Geo then went on to tell me that said Shaman, Rëd, had proceeded to /spit on him and call him ‘baddie’, while saying ‘do that to my 85′. Naturally, Geo told Rëd “fuck off and QQ more” and put her on ignore.

I didn’t get why Rëd had acted in this way. If you’re in the Arena, you are giving permission for anyone to kill you, regardless if they are 85 or 30. So, I decide to tell Rëd this … rather curtly, in fact.

I’m still not finished yet.

I was promptly put on ignore. However, Rëd decided that it wasn’t over, and proceeded to whisper me from another character. Though why they couldn’t have taken me off ignore is beyond me.

This person doesn’t seem to understand the concept of a ‘free-for-all arena’. And what’s this about being in the same guild as Geo? I passed this information on to him, and he soon told me that nobody in his guild knows who this person is.

I put this character on ignore, sick of the constant whining. However, that wasn’t the end of it, oh no.

I bet that if this person had seen Geo on a low level character in the arena, he would have killed him.

IT’S A FREE FOR ALL ARENA. The rules regarding honorable combat don’t apply!

For the love of God, get that through your thick skull.

So he accepts that anyone can kill you in the arena, yet he still thinks anyone who does is a douche. There’s your contradiction.

He seems really keen to keep this dragging on.

I may have contacted them first, but by putting this person on ignore, I wanted to end this. However, they then whispered me from another character. That’s hardly him ‘letting it lie’, is it? Moron.

GEO SAYS: I came across this Rogue of his in Stormwind. She was wearing PvP gear. So had I attempted to fight her, I would have died, seeing as I have no PvP gear of my own. So he’s right, I couldn’t do that to either of his 85 toons  – because it would have been pointless, not to mention suicidal.

When I said ‘He can’t kill what isn’t there’, I meant that Geo can’t exactly fight this person’s 85 if they’re on a Level 30.

Finally, he gives up trying to get me to see his point of view. All I gathered from this is that he doesn’t like being killed, that he doesn’t like my brother, and that he can’t argue to save himself. I notice he said I was contradicting myself, twice, yet he never pointed out how, even after getting me to do it earlier.

In closing, this is just another classic example of ‘gank rage’ – when a lowbie is killed by a higher level, then goes on to bitch and moan about it.

And what an example it was.
