My Priest, Shadcow, is Holy/Shadow specced. I use Shadow when questing, and Holy when I am in a dungeon, since I prefer healing over damage.
I was questing in Zul’Drak when my random dungeon came up. So, I accepted the ready check and soon I was in Gundrak. The rest of the group stopped to pick up quests from the troll at the entrance, so I changed spec and sat down to replenish my mana.
Not that the tank (Throller) noticed. He just charges ahead and soon he’s taking a lot of damage. I think ‘for fuck sake, he’s pulled the whole first room’ and jump down to heal him ASAP.
Turns out it was only the first pack of snakes he was fighting. Sadly, despite my best efforts, the group wipes.
That’s when the shitstorm is unleashed … by Darkwizard, one of the DPS.

Yes, the MLF bug is still there, hence the swearing being censored. But the fact remains that it is common sense to check that your healer is by your side before you go wading into a pack of mobs.

I was going to be a dick and say he’d worded that wrong, but I didn’t. It makes it sound like he’s saying “Don’t have any mana? Then don’t tell us!”.

Throller is still adamant that the wipe was my fault. So naturally, I tell him otherwise.

Just making sure they get the message.

Having decided to inspect him, I see that Throller has very little in the way of tank gear. I went to his Armoury profile, so that I could link some of his stuff, but it was showing his gear from when he was Level 71 – and he was Level 75 at the time of this incident.
I leave the group at this point. The way I see it: if the tank isn’t even geared, there’s no point trying to heal him.
After I leave, I get a whisper from Darkwizard (who is sadly on the same realm as my Priest):

I only noticed that he’d said I should ‘kill myself’ a couple of minutes later. Needless to say, I reported him for it. It’s people saying shit like this that makes so many kids decide to do it. There’s just no need for it.
