Stop Bving Dkhadis!

I got put into the Hour of Twilight dungeon by the Random Dungeon finder. Our first tank quit because he couldn’t handle it, so we got a new one – Dkhadi.

During the Asira Dawnslayer encounter, I was affected by Mark of Silence. Naturally, whenever I cast a spell, I had to move to avoid the knife she threw at me. That’s when one of the other DPS began talking shit:

Oh yeah, I read the tactics, all right.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I sure as hell can’t see anything tactical there. All it says is that she marks a random spellcaster and chucks a knife at them if they cast. Doesn’t say ANYTHING about removing it or avoiding it.

At this point, I notice that Dkhadi isn’t taking Asira out of her Smoke Bomb, thus making it impossible for me to attack her.

Dear me, it looks like I touched a nerve. And yes, I am using that item. But it’s only for the Intellect bonus, which was considerably better than the last trinket I was using. Also, I do find myself assisting healers now and again. A little bit of extra haste never hurt anyone. But it’s not like this fucking idiot bothered to check that fact with me before going off on one.

‘Full blue’, yet he inspected me in order to link that trinket. At the time of typing this up, I only had four blue items – my helm, shoulders, weapon and relic.

As you can probably guess, I was kicked out of the group. But I got a new cloak, so it was worth it … almost.

Anyway, I hope you can see now that I was (partly) not at fault here. Just another classic case of super-imba players picking on the casuals again.

  1. Actually you can avoid it altogether by standing behind a meelee. The knife will hit him instead. Sadly people just don’t pass on this information to other who don’t know it…
