Oh my GOD, this new realm is SO DAMN QUIET! I’m so happy I am able to post an update. I’d move to another realm, but money is a bit tight just now. You know how it is.

Anyway, I was on Luxxoria, selling my stuff at the Auction House when I see a player named Conanthewarr (hereafter referred to as ‘Conan’ selling Linen Cloth at 4g a stack. Since I had twelve stacks of linen on the Auction house at 7g 50s each, I cancel all the auctions and put half of them back up at 2g each.

Conan promptly buys all four, so I put another four up, again at 2g a stack. This time, I advertise in Trade. What happens next is rather … pathetic.

You read that right, folks. He did indeed call me a ‘fag’ for undercutting him.

I didn’t really report him. I was actually hoping he’d panic. I was rather disappointed when he didn’t. But I’m right. I did get a three hour ban for telling someone to ‘fuck off and man up’ (or something along those lines). So by rights he’d get the same for calling me a ‘fag’.

I put him on ignore after this. Just to piss him off even more, I cancelled my Linen auctions (again), and put all eight stacks up at a 1 copper starting bid.

Conan didn’t take bid. However, when I checked a few hours later, I saw that several people had undercut him on cloth. I wonder how many of them got an angry whisper, or an angry in-game mail?

There are no rules against undercutting people on the Auction House. If there was, nobody would be able to make any money.

Which is something Conan really needs to learn.
