Tookillu … And Everyone Else

I was on Boltsalot, healing a random Vortex Pinnacle group. I eventually noticed that the tank, a Death Knight named ‘Tookillu’, was taking far too much damage.

As I suspected, he had mostly DPS gear. I only saw three tanking items on him. And yet, he thinks this is ‘more than enough’. IT ISN’T.

Yes, I am the healer. That is correct. But it still doesn’t give you any right to make my job even harder, because you’re not geared for your job.

By this time, we were at the first boss. Since Tookillu was taking too much damage, I eventually ran out of mana. Not even Telluric Currents could help me, he was getting hammered that much.

Amazingly, we survived. However, as I was getting mana, Tookillu carried on and pulled two packs of mobs, eventually causing a wipe. I called him something I shouldn’t have, hence why it’s blacked out.

He’s telling me to do my game? He should practice what he’s preaching. And I’m not being ‘rude and unpolite’ (well, not that much). I’m merely pointing out facts in a manner that could be viewed as insulting.

He’s not going to report me. And even if he did, Blizzard would only give me a warning or mute me for a day or two. If Blizzard banned people for being rude, there wouldn’t be anyone playing the game.

And that was it, I left the group. I didn’t get another one after that, as all the tanks seemed to have vanished into thin air.

A word of advice. If you’re going to perform a role in a group, make sure you’re equipped to do it. There are plenty of guides out there (my own preference is Noxxic), so it shouldn’t be too hard to read some.

Anyway, I will leave you with my Recount statistics for this dungeon. Looking at them will show how bad Tookillu was. If he was tank geared, he wouldn’t have taken so much damage, or done so much DPS.

Micromacro Failsaloto

I am still continuing to play WoW, though I will be quitting once my game credit runs out on Saturday (four days from now).

Today, I decided to level my Shaman, Boltsalot. I queued for a random Lich King dungeon and a few seconds later (since I queued as a healer), I got Utgarde Keep (as you always do at Level 69).

Since my game client takes a while to load, I missed whatever caused this:

As soon as I saw ‘change ur presence’, I inspected the offending Death Knight. Sure enough, he was in Blood spec, using Blood Presence … and he wasn’t the tank.

Anyway, Micromacro then proceeded to ninja this. At this point, I didn’t say anything. But when we got the proto-drake pen, the Death Knight was still in Blood Presence. That’s when everything kicked off.

Oh look, he’s trying the old ‘do you know who I am’ technique. Is that meant to be intimidating? To me, that sounds like ‘I want to be popular, but I’m not!’.

I like how he didn’t explain who Athene was. I’m going to assume that Athene is his main. By this time, we had killed the second boss(es). Micromacro tried to ninja the drop, so I counter-ninja’d (and won). Hence why I gloated.

At this point, another Skein Woven Mantle dropped – and Micromacro promptly ninja’d it. It’s a good thing rolling Need on BoE items makes them Soulbound. I wouldn’t want him to profit from his ill-gotten gains. I bet he only ninja’d them because he was the only cloth wearer in the group.

As for calling me a ‘dirty Arab’, I don’t know what brought that on. But at least I know he’s a racist prick as well as a stupid prick.

He equipped one of the Mantles, but the fact he’d taken the other one as well still makes him a ninjaing piece of shit.

That’s a nice little tip for you all, provided you didn’t know already. You can ignore people from other realms, and you won’t get put into random dungeons with them. Great for avoiding pricks like Micromacro.

I was going to say that I had learned something from all this, but sadly … I don’t think I did. Except for the fact that Micromacro is a filthy racist scumbag, perhaps.

Anyway, he’s still online – so I’m going to send him the link to this article. Until next time, folks. Be careful out there.

UPDATE: I did a search for ‘Athene’ and found 288 characters with that name. However, there is a character in Micro’s guild called ‘Athenea’ who, at the time of typing this post, was Level 7. That’s REALLY intimidating.

You Got Shrëdded

I was on my new Druid when I got a Real ID message from Geo on his Druid, telling me that he had just killed a Level 30 Draenei Shaman in the Gurubashi Arena.

Geo then went on to tell me that said Shaman, Rëd, had proceeded to /spit on him and call him ‘baddie’, while saying ‘do that to my 85′. Naturally, Geo told Rëd “fuck off and QQ more” and put her on ignore.

I didn’t get why Rëd had acted in this way. If you’re in the Arena, you are giving permission for anyone to kill you, regardless if they are 85 or 30. So, I decide to tell Rëd this … rather curtly, in fact.

I’m still not finished yet.

I was promptly put on ignore. However, Rëd decided that it wasn’t over, and proceeded to whisper me from another character. Though why they couldn’t have taken me off ignore is beyond me.

This person doesn’t seem to understand the concept of a ‘free-for-all arena’. And what’s this about being in the same guild as Geo? I passed this information on to him, and he soon told me that nobody in his guild knows who this person is.

I put this character on ignore, sick of the constant whining. However, that wasn’t the end of it, oh no.

I bet that if this person had seen Geo on a low level character in the arena, he would have killed him.

IT’S A FREE FOR ALL ARENA. The rules regarding honorable combat don’t apply!

For the love of God, get that through your thick skull.

So he accepts that anyone can kill you in the arena, yet he still thinks anyone who does is a douche. There’s your contradiction.

He seems really keen to keep this dragging on.

I may have contacted them first, but by putting this person on ignore, I wanted to end this. However, they then whispered me from another character. That’s hardly him ‘letting it lie’, is it? Moron.

GEO SAYS: I came across this Rogue of his in Stormwind. She was wearing PvP gear. So had I attempted to fight her, I would have died, seeing as I have no PvP gear of my own. So he’s right, I couldn’t do that to either of his 85 toons  – because it would have been pointless, not to mention suicidal.

When I said ‘He can’t kill what isn’t there’, I meant that Geo can’t exactly fight this person’s 85 if they’re on a Level 30.

Finally, he gives up trying to get me to see his point of view. All I gathered from this is that he doesn’t like being killed, that he doesn’t like my brother, and that he can’t argue to save himself. I notice he said I was contradicting myself, twice, yet he never pointed out how, even after getting me to do it earlier.

In closing, this is just another classic example of ‘gank rage’ – when a lowbie is killed by a higher level, then goes on to bitch and moan about it.

And what an example it was.

2xPala is equal to 2xIdiot

While on my Priest, I queued for a random dungeon. I was put into a BRD group with a Warrior as tank, a Hunter … and two Paladins from Outland – Bloodyfinger and Bigeasy.

They immediately try and get the group to go the wrong way. Being Level 53, they think we are doing the whole of BRD. When in fact we are just doing the Detention Block, since I was only Level 49.

As you can see, I was being polite – but Bloodyfinger decides to become a major source of douchebaggery and fail. This is where it all goes to hell in a trolley handcart.

I never did ask him what ‘his business’ was. Unless its being a dickhead – in which case I didn’t need to ask.

I don’t know why Bigeasy decided to call me ‘mon key man’, or why Bloodyfinger asked me to get down on my knees. All I do know is the reason I asked them to continue – to get some more screenshots to share with you guys. :D

The Hunter was on my side in all this – so thank you. The tank remained neutral throughout – as a matter of fact, I don’t think he spoke English.

Anyway, as you can see, the insults are getting more childish.

I have to admit, I never saw Righteous Fury on either of them. Checking the Combat Log was a waste of time, given all the fighting we were doing with the mobs. However, I believe the Hunter – maybe both Paladins removed it before I could check.

I laughed when I saw what Bigeasy had said – ‘without us you can do anything’. I’m glad he was honest about it. He and Bloodyfinger were holding us up, after all.

This was true. The tank pulled one pack of mobs in one room, and as he was running to the other room to pull the second pack, both Paladins attacked the first pack of mobs.

The Hunter’s attempts to get his/her point across fail, so (s)he decides to go along with what these idiots are saying.

I don’t know what he meant by ‘saved the tanks ass’. As far as I am aware, the tank never came close to death, because I was healing like mad.

Anyway, after some goading by the Hunter, both Paladins decide to take on the rest of the instance themselves…

… and fail miserably. At this point, we votekick Bloodyfinger. Bigeasy (rage)quits a short time later. We then find two more DPS and complete the instance.

There is a 50/50 chance that these two are actually a pair of kids who act like hardmen because they’re on the Internet. If this argument was to happen in real life, they’d run scared.

I seriously hope they see this. Because I actually sent them both a link to this story. So, if you’re there guys, give me a comment. Or you can insult me some more. Whatever.

Jealous Much?

Any name censored by a red bar is mine.

I had just created a Night Elf, and I went to Dolanaar to collect some heirlooms (remember, this is before the Cataclysm and the introduction of mailboxes to starting areas).

After I had equipped said heirlooms, I was approached by a Rogue named Michien:

So, I’m guessing this guy is madly jealous of the fact I have these things and he doesn’t.

“give me ya fking gear or ima fkin shank y” – yeah, I’m totally brickin’ it, bruv. You cut me, I’ma fuckin’ drop yer, innit? Dumbass.

Yeah, he’s jealous. So, I guess it’s time to put him in his place.

He shut up after that. I guess the ‘hard man’ attitude wasn’t working as well as he’d hoped. This happened in 2010, so I guess he’ll have some ‘airlooms’ of his own by now.

Provided he wasn’t banned for trying this shit on someone else, that is.
