I was on Boltsalot, healing a random Vortex Pinnacle group. I eventually noticed that the tank, a Death Knight named ‘Tookillu’, was taking far too much damage.

As I suspected, he had mostly DPS gear. I only saw three tanking items on him. And yet, he thinks this is ‘more than enough’. IT ISN’T.

Yes, I am the healer. That is correct. But it still doesn’t give you any right to make my job even harder, because you’re not geared for your job.

By this time, we were at the first boss. Since Tookillu was taking too much damage, I eventually ran out of mana. Not even Telluric Currents could help me, he was getting hammered that much.

Amazingly, we survived. However, as I was getting mana, Tookillu carried on and pulled two packs of mobs, eventually causing a wipe. I called him something I shouldn’t have, hence why it’s blacked out.

He’s telling me to do my game? He should practice what he’s preaching. And I’m not being ‘rude and unpolite’ (well, not that much). I’m merely pointing out facts in a manner that could be viewed as insulting.

He’s not going to report me. And even if he did, Blizzard would only give me a warning or mute me for a day or two. If Blizzard banned people for being rude, there wouldn’t be anyone playing the game.

And that was it, I left the group. I didn’t get another one after that, as all the tanks seemed to have vanished into thin air.
A word of advice. If you’re going to perform a role in a group, make sure you’re equipped to do it. There are plenty of guides out there (my own preference is Noxxic), so it shouldn’t be too hard to read some.
Anyway, I will leave you with my Recount statistics for this dungeon. Looking at them will show how bad Tookillu was. If he was tank geared, he wouldn’t have taken so much damage, or done so much DPS.

As you can see, I was being polite – but Bloodyfinger decides to become a major source of douchebaggery and fail. This is where it all goes to hell in a
I never did ask him what ‘his business’ was. Unless its being a dickhead – in which case I didn’t need to ask.
I don’t know why Bigeasy decided to call me ‘mon key man’, or why Bloodyfinger asked me to get down on my knees. All I do know is the reason I asked them to continue – to get some more screenshots to share with you guys.
The Hunter was on my side in all this – so thank you. The tank remained neutral throughout – as a matter of fact, I don’t think he spoke English.
I have to admit, I never saw
I laughed when I saw what Bigeasy had said – ‘without us you can do anything’. I’m glad he was honest about it. He and Bloodyfinger were holding us up, after all.
This was true. The tank pulled one pack of mobs in one room, and as he was running to the other room to pull the second pack, both Paladins attacked the first pack of mobs.
The Hunter’s attempts to get his/her point across fail, so (s)he decides to go along with what these idiots are saying.
I don’t know what he meant by ‘saved the tanks ass’. As far as I am aware, the tank never came close to death, because I was healing like mad.
… and fail miserably. At this point, we votekick Bloodyfinger. Bigeasy (rage)quits a short time later. We then find two more DPS and complete the instance.
So, I’m guessing this guy is madly jealous of the fact I have these things and he doesn’t.
“give me ya fking gear or ima fkin shank y” – yeah, I’m totally brickin’ it, bruv. You cut me, I’ma fuckin’ drop yer, innit? Dumbass.
Yeah, he’s jealous. So, I guess it’s time to put him in his place.
He shut up after that. I guess the ‘hard man’ attitude wasn’t working as well as he’d hoped. This happened in 2010, so I guess he’ll have some ‘airlooms’ of his own by now.
